Our Services

Just Like Family offers a variety of home and assistance services to seniors living in the New England Area, including Wareham, Marion, Mattapoisett, Fairhaven, Acushnet, Rochester, Freetown, New Bedford, Dartmouth, Westport, Fall River, and Tiverton, Rhode Island.

Companionship Services

Accompany Client on walks, recreational activities, and appointments (medical, salon, barber, etc.)
Assist with arranging transportation, setting appointments and maintaining contact between family.
Socialize with and keep client company.

Hospital/Rehab to Home

Assist with packing and organizing belongings for client discharge
Grocery and/or product shopping to ensure refrigerator is stocked.
Prepare home for client, such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, and making bed.
Be present to open door and accept deliveries, post-operative medical equipment, etc. on behalf of client.

Make necessary appointments or calls on behalf of client, such as following up on VNA services, doctor appointments, prescription picks ups, etc. and maintaining contact between family and client.

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT

Home to Independent/Assisted Living

Assist with logistics of move, such as scheduling movers, supervising, and coordinating move-in details with case/care workers at senior living community.
Assist with furniture & clothing selection, packing/unpacking and helping client settle into senior living community.
Assist with mail address changes, and scheduling cable/phone installation, and maintaining contact between family and client.

Home Services and Household Management

Schedule, coordinate, and supervise home services such as deep cleaning, lawn care, etc.
Assist with home organization projects, Bill Pay, and mail organization
Assist with packing/unpacking, seasonal wardrobe changes, etc.
Grocery shopping and errands
