1) Agreement to terms
By accessing our website, contacting us, booking a consultation, or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

3) Services
We provide personal concierge and senior support/organizing services (e.g., errands, organizing, move coordination, appointment management) as described on our website and in our estimates. Actual scope, timeline, and pricing will be set out in your written estimate or confirmation. Services do not include medical, legal, financial, or professional advice; we are not a home-health or licensed medical provider.
4) Estimates, bookings, deposits, cancellations
Estimates are based on information available at the time and are not binding if scope changes.
Scheduling: We will confirm appointment dates/times via email/SMS.
Deposits: For larger projects, we may require a deposit; this will be stated on your estimate or invoice.
Cancellations/Rescheduling: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed or late-cancelled appointments may incur a fee not to exceed the service minimum for the scheduled time.
5) Pricing & payment
Pricing is as quoted in your estimate/invoice. Unless otherwise stated, payment is due upon completion for single-day work or per milestone for multi-day projects. We may invoice electronically and accept approved electronic payments. Late balances may accrue a reasonable late fee as permitted by law.
6) Client responsibilities
You agree to: (a) provide safe access to the premises; (b) secure and remove valuables if desired; (c) disclose hazards/allergies; (d) obtain necessary permissions in shared spaces; and (e) ensure adults are present where required. We reserve the right to pause or decline work we deem unsafe or outside scope.
7) Vendors & referrals
With your direction, we can coordinate third-party vendors (e.g., movers, junk removal). Vendors are independent contractors; we are not responsible for their acts or omissions. You are responsible for vendor fees unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If you choose to share a review or feedback, you grant us permission to use, reproduce, and display that content for marketing in a manner consistent with our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw permission by contacting us.

10) Intellectual property (website)
By providing your contact information, you agree we may contact you about your requests and services. If you opt in to SMS, you agree to the SMS terms in our Privacy Policy: recurring messages, message frequency varies, message & data rates may apply, text STOP to opt out, HELP for help, and that consent is not a condition of purchase.
11) Disclaimer; limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our services and website are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. In no event will Just Like Family or its personnel be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the service giving rise to the claim.
12) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your misuse of our services or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict of laws. Exclusive venue for disputes will be the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.
14) Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above reflects the latest version.
